Crock-Pot Ham 🍖 (slow cooker glazed ham)
A Crock-Pot ham is one of the easiest ways to get a juicy, tender, flavorful main dish with almost no effort.
Ingredients
- 1 fully cooked ham (bone-in or boneless)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice or apple juice
- 1–2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- Whole cloves (optional, for studding)
How to cook it
- Place the ham in the Crock-Pot (cut side down if possible).
- Pour pineapple juice or apple juice over the ham.
- Rub brown sugar over the top and sides.
- Drizzle honey or maple syrup on top.
- Cover and cook:
- LOW: 4–6 hours
- HIGH: 2–3 hours
- Baste occasionally with the juices if you can.
- Optional: Glaze it under the broiler for 3–5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
Tips for best results
- Use a fully cooked ham (you’re just reheating and flavoring it).
- Don’t overcook—ham can dry out if left too long.
- Add pineapple slices for extra sweetness and presentation 🍍
- Leftovers are great for sandwiches, fried rice, or omelets.
If you want, I can also give:
- a cola-glazed ham version
- a garlic butter savory ham
- or what to serve with it for a full meal plan 👍
