Honey Garlic Chicken Wings 🍯🧄

These wings are crispy, sticky, sweet, and garlicky—perfect as a snack, appetizer, or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1–2 tbsp oil

Honey garlic sauce

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3–4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice (optional)
  • Chili flakes (optional for heat)

How to make them

1. Cook the wings

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • Season wings with salt, pepper, paprika, and oil
  • Bake for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
    (Or air fry at 190°C for ~20–25 minutes)

2. Make the sauce

  • In a pan, melt butter
  • Add garlic and cook 30–60 seconds
  • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thick

3. Combine

  • Toss hot wings in the sauce
  • Return to oven for 5 minutes if you want extra stickiness

Tips

  • For extra crispiness, dust wings lightly with cornstarch before baking
  • Don’t overcrowd the tray
  • Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for garnish
