Pan-Fried Halloumi
Pan-fried halloumi is crispy outside, soft inside, and takes only a few minutes.
Ingredients
- 225 g halloumi cheese
- 1 tsp olive oil (optional)
- Black pepper
- Lemon wedges or honey for serving
Instructions
- Slice the halloumi into pieces about 1 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add a tiny bit of oil if needed.
- Cook halloumi for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.

- With salad and olives
- In wraps or sandwiches
- Drizzled with honey and chili flakes
- With grilled vegetables
Tips
- Don’t add salt — halloumi is already salty.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
- You can also grill or air-fry it.
