🧾 Ingredients

  • 4–6 bell peppers (any color)
  • 500 g ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (optional)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili powder (optional)
  • 1/2–1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds.
  3. Sauté onion (and garlic) until soft.
  4. Add ground meat, cook until browned.
  5. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, and seasoning.
  6. Fill peppers with mixture.
  7. Place in baking dish and add a little sauce around them.
  8. Cover with foil and bake 30–35 minutes.
  9. Remove foil, add cheese, bake another 10 minutes.
