🧾 Ingredients

  • 1–2 lb ham (leftover ham or ham hock/ham steak, diced)
  • 1–1.5 lb green beans (fresh or frozen)
  • 4–6 medium potatoes, chopped into chunks
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
  • 3–4 cups chicken broth (or water + bouillon)
  • 1–2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste (go light—ham is already salty)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or butter

  1. Prep ingredients
    • Chop potatoes and ham.
    • Trim green beans if fresh.
