Garlic Butter Shrimp is a quick, flavorful dish that takes about 15 minutes to make.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining butter and garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
