Ingredients (Serves 2–4)
- 2 lobster tails
- 8–12 sea scallops
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the lobster
- Cut the lobster shell down the center and lift the meat slightly above the shell.
- Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cook the lobster
- Broil or bake at 220°C (425°F) for about 8–12 minutes, depending on size, until the meat is opaque.
3. Sear the scallops
- Pat scallops completely dry.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear scallops for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
4. Make the garlic butter sauce
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter to the skillet.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest.
5. Finish
- Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the lobster and scallops.
- Garnish with parsley.
