What drinking water on an empty stomach can do

  • Temporarily increase feelings of fullness, which may help some people eat a little less at their next meal.

What it doesn’t do

There is no strong scientific evidence that drinking water on an empty stomach:

  • Burns fat or melts belly fat.
  • Dramatically boosts metabolism.
  • Prevents or cures diseases.
