If you’re looking for the “hack” behind that viral headline, it’s usually this simple method:
- Mix equal parts water and white vinegar (or use plain water with a drop of dish soap).
- Put an old sock or microfiber cloth over your hand.
- Lightly dampen the sock—don’t soak it.
- Grip each blind slat between your fingers and slide from one end to the other.
- Let the blinds air-dry or wipe with a dry microfiber cloth for extra shine.
This works because the cloth cleans both sides of each slat at once, making the job much faster than wiping each side separately.
Keep in mind that “2 minutes with zero work” is an exaggeration. The method is quick and effective for lightly dusty blinds, but heavily soiled blinds may still need a more thorough cleaning.
