Garlic Butter Shrimp

Garlic Butter Shrimp is a quick, flavorful dish that takes about 15 minutes to make.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining butter and garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.

  • With crusty bread to soak up the sauce

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a little grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
