🌮 Seven-Layer Taco Dip
A classic party appetizer with creamy, savory, and fresh layers. Serve it chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
🧾 Ingredients
Layer 1 – Refried beans
- 1 can (about 450 g / 16 oz) refried beans
Layer 2 – Seasoned cream cheese
- 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 tbsp taco seasoning
Layer 3 – Sour cream
- 1 cup sour cream
Layer 4 – Salsa
- 1 cup salsa, drained if very watery
Layer 5 – Cheese
- 1–1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
Layer 6 – Vegetables
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 green onions, sliced
Layer 7 – Toppings
- ½ cup sliced black olives
- Optional: diced avocado, jalapeños, or chopped cilantro
👨🍳 Instructions
- Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Mix cream cheese with taco seasoning and spread over the beans.
- Spread sour cream on top.
- Add an even layer of salsa.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa.
- Add diced tomatoes and green onions.
- Finish with olives and any optional toppings.

Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes before serving to let the layers set.
