🌮 Seven-Layer Taco Dip

A classic party appetizer with creamy, savory, and fresh layers. Serve it chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

🧾 Ingredients

Layer 1 – Refried beans

  • 1 can (about 450 g / 16 oz) refried beans

Layer 2 – Seasoned cream cheese

  • 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2–3 tbsp taco seasoning

Layer 3 – Sour cream

  • 1 cup sour cream

Layer 4 – Salsa

  • 1 cup salsa, drained if very watery

Layer 5 – Cheese

  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese

Layer 6 – Vegetables

  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Layer 7 – Toppings

  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • Optional: diced avocado, jalapeños, or chopped cilantro

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. Mix cream cheese with taco seasoning and spread over the beans.
  3. Spread sour cream on top.
  4. Add an even layer of salsa.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa.
  6. Add diced tomatoes and green onions.
  7. Finish with olives and any optional toppings.

Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes before serving to let the layers set.

🧠 Make-Ahead Tip
