Honey Glazed Pork Chops

Honey Glazed Pork Chops are juicy pork chops coated in a sticky, flavorful glaze made with honey and savory seasonings.

Honey Glazed Pork Chops (4 servings)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch / 2.5 cm thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the glaze

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, mustard, garlic, and vinegar.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the pork chops for 4–5 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the glaze.
  6. Cook for another 2–4 minutes, turning the chops occasionally and spooning the glaze over them, until the sauce thickens and the pork is cooked through.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Roasted sweet potatoes
  • Steamed green beans
  • Rice or pilaf
  • A crisp garden salad

Tips

  • Bone-in chops tend to stay juicier during cooking.
  • If the glaze thickens too much, add a tablespoon of water.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or a few sprigs of fresh thyme.

The result is a delicious balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors with a beautifully caramelized glaze. 🍯🥩
