Honey Garlic Baked Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Make the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, pepper, and salt.
  3. Coat the chicken: Place the drumsticks in a large bowl or zip-top bag and toss with the sauce until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange for baking: Place the drumsticks on a lined baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  5. Bake: Cook for 35–45 minutes, turning once halfway through. Brush with any remaining sauce during the last 10 minutes.
  6. Check doneness: The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F).
  7. Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
